I finally got the chance to shoot my very first concert for Fazer Magazine, and the band that I got to shoot happened to be Flyleaf! They used to be one of my favourite bands; however I still like and I definitely had lots of fun at the concert!
Though it was not quite the type of music that I usually listen to, I must that that it was quite fun watching The Ocean Buried putting on a good show. They also opened for Everlea, which I will post at a later date.
Well, I really wasn’t expecting much at all, since this was my very first car photoshoot. But it got worse, when I was doing some test shots, one of my strobes would not flash at all. Eventually, I had to do the entire shoot with only one light, and surprisingly some of the shots turned out better than expected!
What a fantastic weekend! For the first time, I got my friends to help me out on a shoot, and everything turned out great! They loved it, they loved the location, and my friend Alannah was the ‘zombie’ and Sean posed as the ‘victim’!
Models: Alannah Gibson, Sean Tardo
Makeup Artist: Melanie Laforme
Alannah is an old high school friend of mine, and she’s been pretty much all over the map. She told me that she was going to be in Toronto this weekend, so we did a quick photoshoot in downtown Toronto, and I think that they turned out amazing.

Last night was a great night to hang out with Sun Satellite. Nice weather, beautiful sky, nice temperature, everything was fantastic, except for getting devoured by mosquitoes and all kinds of other stupid bugs. At first, I didn’t find the location very inspirational, but it turned out to be a great spot, and I think that it worked out very well and it fits nicely with the type of music that they play.
What you’re seeing in the sky are not stars, but damn mosquitoes and all the rest.

I had so much fun with my friend Keri last night (We all know she is horribad at modelling, but it was really awesome to work with her! ) ! I think we started to do the shoot around 12am, and finished around 1am. (zZz) It was not the best time to shoot, ,but thank god for strobes. I think that the hardest part was to focus manually! =O who focuses manually anyway! Check the pics out!
Keri, you rocked that session!

This photoshoot was supposed to be done a long time ago, but I kept pushing back because I had other things to work on such as shooting weddings and what not. Anywho, last Sunday I finally got the time needed, talked to The Imports a week ahead and they were totally down with it.
